My name is John D. DeCuir (aka "Spaceship Ears" in the Disney community), a tech enthusiast and Disney fan in the Pacific Northwest. My journey in this field is deeply personal and intertwined with an extraordinary family legacy. I am related to the legendary John F. DeCuir, Sr. and John F. DeCuir, Jr., both of whom left an indelible mark as film production designers and Imagineers. Their pioneering visions in film and theme park design have inspired me to merge data-driven analysis with heartfelt storytelling. In Grand and Miraculous, I honor that heritage by exploring how immersive narratives and groundbreaking design continue to shape our cultural experiences.
